ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Hadley Freeman (born 1978) was born in New York City, the family moving to London when Hadley was 11. She obtained her degree in English Literarture from St.Anne’s College, Oxford, where she edited the student newspaper Cherwell. After a year in Paris she joined the Guardian as a staff writer and columnist.
