STEVE JOBS (2011)
Steven Paul Jobs (1955 – 2011) was an American businessman, inventor, and investor best known for co-founding the technology company Apple Inc. Jobs was also the founder of NeXT and chairman and majority shareholder of Pixar. He was a pioneer of the personal computer revolution of the 1970s and 1980s, along with his early business partner and fellow Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak.
ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Walter Isaacson’s career was as a journalist, editor, television executive, and author - with a specialism in biographies. His other biographees have included Henry Kissinger, Albert Einstein, Benjamin Franklin, Leonardo da Vinci, and Elon Musk. Isaacson attended Harvard, and was a Rhodes Scholar at Oxford University. He was during his career the chief executive officer of the CNN television network, and the editor of Time magazine. He was also the chief executive officerof the policy studies think tank the Aspen Institute.
